Even though it was only like one page of explaination, it was sad! No wonder he's so messed up. His parents abandoned him just because he was too wild?!? I wanna hug him. ;3;

man, him and Chopper had the same damn problem, cept that chopper's parents were reindeer, and reindeer are just spiteful in general... don't believe me? try and have a conversation with one and see how much seething rage is boiling there. Rudolph and him never stood a chance against such a reservist society. Chopper's okay because he was raised by humans and technically is half one and rudolph had his nose so bright.
how many of the Strawhats were simply children given up... Sanji? Maybe... Zoro i could totally see going out to practice and then just ending up totally lost. Luffy was trained by his grandpa and his father... well we don't know what happened there but Luffy doesnt remember him and his pop Dragon doesnt seem to be the "I love you son" type. Robin... well her mother, uncle, and cousin went up in smoke, her father probably bit it too. Nami and her "sister" were saved from like, some warzone by Bellmere. Chopper and Franky were abandoned/outcasted by their lifegivers. Usopp had to watch his mom die slowly of some illness and his pop had been elsewhere his whole life.
Damn, Usopp is going to have some serious words with his father.

I just want you to know that I was going just wait for for the scanlation for 354, but then I saw this entry and I went to go read the script and raw. I wuv Franky, I'll be glad if he joins Luffy's crew. ^_^ Whatever Oda decides is best, of course.
