  Character: Minty is an eponym of everything clutzy and awkward in a flesh: despite her good-hearted intentions she usually end up messing everything around, intefering others or overall being a stick on the road. Her innocent urges of meddling into other's affairs don't help either, but her ability of coming up with excuses and jokes sells on almost everyone - it's hard to hold grudges on this absent-minded pony for long as she usually forgets any misaunderstandings quickly herself. Minty acts like a clumsy, helpless, but playful young mare with a mind and imagination of a small foal, making her kind-natured and inoffensive, but extremely sensitive to others opinions and impressions. Minty can be too childish, annoying or naive from time to time, but she never intends any harm, having a gentle heart; although it's rare to ever see her truly mad, no one would ever want to mess up with her, her friends or offend things she likes, as she's pretty irrepressible. She's completely dedicated to her favourite things and does everything she sets her mind too with passion and fondness: she absolutely adores cooking, baking, skating, doing sports, and her main hobby includes collecting socks of all kinds. In her freetime she likes trying out new things to do everyday, included but not limited to doing acrobatics, standing on her head, roller-skating and riding bicycle/scooter, and everything that increases her adrenaline, being extremely restless and active most of the time. Of all seasons she enjoys wintertime most, as it fills her days with more fun activites to do and things to try, - also being childlish-ly simple-minded, Minty believes that winter brings the most magical and hopeful time of the year - Christmas.
Minty represents an extremely anxious pony, who worries and gets excited for things sometimes too much: being aware of her clumsiness she feels fear of looking or behaving ridiculous or being too different from everyone else. Minty means well and tries hard to correct her overly-emotional behaviour, but it only makes her more nervous and unsure of what to do with herself. She genuely loves everyone, especially her friends, and stays loyal to them, not forgetting to show signs of her attraction and friendship from time to time: more than anything she adores making others smile and surprising everyone with her attention and care.

Born of pair of ever busy parents, the local bakers Butterscotch and Sweet Stuff, baby Minty, healthy and chubby lively filly, would often feel hardships of being on her own, when hard-working parents couldn't devote much time to the child; from young age Minty was leaning to be independent and strong-willed, as she intended to maintain status of "Sweets&Treats" main chief once she's old enough. For now she helps her folks in the kitchen, gaining wisdom and knowledge from them and learning everything about cooking; sweet tooth by nature, Minty would most commonly ask her mother to teach her to bake and make sweets of all kinds that she would see in magazines and cookery books. She was energetic and extremely active even in the kitchen, and parents, tired of her clumsiness and nuisance, sent her to the sports club so to put her excessive energy into something more useful; frisky Minty came to love acrobatics and gymnastics most of all and would often practice various tricks at home, bringing parents even more trouble. Reaching teenhood young mare had to go through that awkward state, when she became extremely anxious and overly-emotional; she often worried about public opinions and impressions she made on others, but would open up her naturally curious and friendly side near trusted friends. At that time her litle sister Scootaloo was born, and Minty dedicated all her time caring for a mischievous sibling, - girls would play and fight, ride bikes together and, of course, steal treats from the kitchen when mom wasn't looking. Once an adult mare, ambitious Minty became the new main chief in family cafe and made herself famous as one of the most talented young cooks in Ponyville, - along with rival Sweetberry, Triple Treat and Cotton Candy.
