Welcome to my World of lies .
So was snowboarding yesterday, and something strange happen .
there were this group of people looking over cause it was
raining and it always get very hot while raining ,
so i decided to take some of my gears of and go
without the coat and just use my shirt instead .
after i could just throw it and be dry again .
This girl came over and ask to see some of my inks ,
and some of my friends too ,not a big deal .
After she told us she have a few on her own and we went to see ,
but when she was raising her sleeves there was several massive cuts ,
Do you know what i am talking about ?
I never saw so many in front of me , i've seen it around ,
i guess we all have right ? but this time it took me by surprise .
I am pretty sure you can imagine that i still am cause ,
it might be "normal " these days but , not that many no ,
so i decided to make this post , to write about it ,
and to remember myself that at least people could do is
make some art out of it you know .
I wish i saw that many cuts in inks form ,
translate in art instead . I have a friend who likes to
slit her thighs , i've seen it but ,
to make those scars that i've seen today
this girl must have use some pretty strange thing to
slit herself . I don't think i'll ever want to see such a thing again .
i am probably getting old . cause i never thought i would be
this much surprised but in the other hand ,
i don't want to be a guy who thinks this is whatever .
it's not whatever ! I wish i could do something .
I just wish someone could . And this is not normal ,
i don't want to be in a place where it is or live with people
that just accept it . this is not me . i am sad today .

this is really sad...
I mean... We can't just judge things... If it's right or if it's wrong...
But you don't want some stuffs to happen... And you don't have a single idea of what to do to help...
This sort of feeling is really frustrating...
The thing that I like in this shot (other than the format) is the beautiful blooms under such a dense atmosphere...

I really regret my self harm. I hope that one day I can cover them with a tattoo. Not so I can show them off but to show I've moved on and don't need it anymore.

I really like this picture... And that story about cutting is pretty sad; I've never known anybody who has cut themselves, but I know it's around and that it exists... So, nice work taking this picture~ ^^

And cutting is something people do for many reasons. Sometimes to punish themselves, sometimes to ground them and bring them back to reality. Sometimes it makes them feel calm. We all have forms of emotional coping.

People are even having surgical procedures where sergions cut patients in a way that after healing, the scar will be of something, like a hand maybe, some flowers, whatever they wish. They view it like a tatoo, but its an actual scar instead. The amount of pain that they would have been through to go through that and to get the scar they wanted...its horrendous if you ask me. It isn't normal. Just Because the scar may look like a 'pretty' Pattern at the end of the day to them, It's still self-harm. It's still an issue. It's so sad how people attack themselves in this way. Your not getting old, I'm young yet I still agree with you and never want to do that to myself.

it's called scarification. look it up. it has deeper roots than what you described. Apparently African tribes used to do it in order to mark important events in their lives, like marriage... But that is different than what he's described and has nothing to do with self inflicted wounds. It's not done to hurt one's self, but much like a tattoo, to express one's self.
