It's my first official fake character design for Firefall, featured here! [link]

Normally I would write some story about it, but since its canon has already been established in the above link, I will instead talk about art (on an art site whaaaat)

I did not have much time to make this one, as I didn't remember about April 1st until yesterday after work. I spent the evening trying to make a mustache themed character (in honor of the 'stache loving community), but my first pass at it felt a bit too "cool," and not enough like a dumb idea. Also, it was more Gentleman-themed than it was Mustache-themed, and used more cloth than I think our game's art style allows.

So I tried a second time, and it resulted in what you see here! It took me until 2 in the morning, though. But it was fun drawing with thick, bold lines again, and trying a different art style (behold, a nose wider than a single line/dot!). Bottom lighting is always fun, as usual.

I name this manly man Horatio Moústache.
