Description Here's my design for a new Autobot combiner which I found in my sta.sh folder from a while ago, made up from space exploration vehicles/satellites:

Astroplex (torso) - transforms into the Internation Space Station
Spyclops (left arm/cannon) - transforms into the Hubble telescope
Nightglider (right arm) - transforms into the Voyager space probe
Gold Tread (right leg) - transforms into a planetary exploration probe, similar to Viking I
Copperwing (left leg) - transforms into the Galileo space probe

I imagine these guys are old friends of Cosmos' who have scanned alt-modes from space junk/satellites they have encountered while observing Earth. They need more of a back-story though (and perhaps a comic!).
I also need to think of a name for the team. Maybe Cosmobots or something...

I can see that this could work!

Yeah, there would have to be a lot of mass shifting though - those probes are pretty small.

ok. I am not so familiar with These.

I don't know for sure how big the satellites are but I seem to remember about the size of a Mini.

So it has to be mass-shifting. Allthough I like it when the Transformers have their real size. For example Broadside must be very huge

That you really didnt fit in with any others! XD

Or Astrotrain. How can he Transport the whole Decepticon-army but is in Robotform only as big as Megatron. That is either mass-shifting or Magic

And Devastator can fit in him!

Excellent design and idea Joe! Love the way how his G1 bulky, bricky, and blocky as a gestalt, just the way I love my combiners! Very innovative details, like how you designed and positioned them with each part fitting in nicely to suit the body structure. Also like the backstory to him being a friend of Cosmos, we don't get much space Transformers so good to see you delve into that area and like the touch of Solaris' name and him being on a moon or planet of some sort!

Cool design!Β  Great idea too.Β  If you ever want to collab on some profile pages of the big guy and his component bots, just let me know

Thanks! That would be awesome!
I did this design a while ago, and I've got robot designs for each of them (well, little biro sketches anyway) and their alt-modes are all existing space exploration vehicles/satellites.
I'm still working in their characters though.

Thanks! That would be really cool! I've not done many OC's before, not with proper former characters anyway, so a collab would be great! I'll iron out their designs when I get chance.

That'll be cool mate.Β  Take you tome on them though as it'll probably take me a while to colour them too.

There's a comic story in the works for these guys too...
