Description
This is the first part of a five pieces work based on the song "Lateralus" by Tool. This was a school project, where we had to create a complete cd cover for a band of our choice.The whole thing is made of recycled metal pieces I gathered along the roads. The little dude is about 10 inches high and is made of metal wire and small rope.

i love this. would you ever let a band use it for an actual album cover? my band is doing a double release. 2 cd's. and since we're letting them out at the same time we want the art to be very similar. my band is @outofthetempest <-facebook

Indeed they are. Hopefully it will be as good as Lateralus. But hoping that is like hoping that dimebag darryl will ressurect as a zombie guitar genius, It probably aint going to happen since Lateralus was the greatest album of all time

I think Lateralus was their best too... but there were some pretty intense and nice moments on 10,000 days. I'm pretty sure they'll come up with something interesting to listen at.

10 000 days definitelly had its sexual moment i agree.. especially right in two. But unfortunatelly I was expecting lateralus part 2. A completelly mathematical work of art. And it turned out to be more of a personal journey for maynard. But yeah. I cannot deny the brilliance of any of theyre stuff. And I am bleeding to hear the new album. Besides the beauty and perfection that is tool, what else you into?

Lots of stuff. There's a lot out there that is worth listening to.
These days, I'm mainly into "post-rock" acts like "Godspeed You! Black Emperor", "Mogwai" and "Explosions in the sky". Real interesting stuff if you like it intense.

No I'm sorry... that's the only thing I have concerning Tool. This might change some day, but for now, I have other inspiration sources... Tool's an awesome band, but not the only interesting thing there is on earth...
