A suggestion from that i really liked. Bruce Wayne becoming Bane
I'm not sure if i'd put this in the same universe as Bane and Dick becoming a couple after Dick is brainwashed by modified venom and turned into a second Bane. But i would have it that Dick, as a new Bane uses the venom to turn Bruce into a much bigger and badder Bane and he would then use his billions to fund crime and the former dark knight becomes Gotham's strongest, richest and most powerful criminal mastermind, King Bane, who rules over Gotham with an iron fistΒ

They hold up the venue for 4 days and then release a powerful nerve agent developed on Apokolips into the building to kill their hostages, while the disciples all survive as they wear gas masks and return to their compound via boom tubes, leaving behind bombs that are set to blow up the place and finish off any hostages who are ailing from their poisoningΒ

But here is the problem for the JL, these soldiers are innocent men and women who have been brainwashed with nanites and indoctrinated with undying loyalty to Darkseid. They're still open-minded, behave normally and have their memories, but just see things differently and have undying loyalty to Darkseid. So the brainwashing was a "seeing the light" indoctrination rather than just turning them into mindless henchmanΒ

Hmm... I could see this working a different way, as an alternate outcome of the Batman: Venom arc where Bruce got addicted to the formula after believing he wasn't strong enough and turned into a psychopath.
The original worked in pill form, so maybe he found a way to manufacture fluid venom...
