Description
For the Last Man Standing 3 battle on ConceptArt.orgwww.LastManArt.com
Topic: Underneath It All
Agonized over this for months and finally scrapped all my other ideas in the last 2 days and went for Ophelia (fr. Hamlet) floating in the river, dead. I'm so so on this piece right now, what with being burnt out with the competition (also, my match looks BRUTAL, wish me luck)

Oh you capture the empty despair and hopelessness so well...it's as if she's just fallen back into the water, and death has not quite reached icy tendrils into her body yet...
The little white flowers seem to be floating closer, ready to follow her as her last attendants- in death...

when you look at the thumbnail version she looks like she is floating in the sky - thought that was a neat effect since she is dead...

this looks awesome. the water edging her body looks great. Though she doesn't really look dead... more like contemplating suicide in her fancy bathtub 6_6' ganbatte!

This is beautiful! I love that the color palette is very dark without losing its richness. Lovely job.
