Oh hey, don't mind me. I'm just going to lie here in an incoherent puddle of feelings and hopefully you be able to tell I just read the first book of Galleries of Stone.
In all seriousness though, I adore the story. I spent a couple hours I should have been using to pack to read it because I didn't want to stop. If it is hardbound or is going to become hardbound, I will buy that book in an instant.
Thanks you for a wonderful couple hours of reading <3

i'm only a teen but i am currently writing chapter 3 of my book. i dont have a clue what the story is yet. i am making it up as i go along.should i have a plan?
my first paragraph is this:
The Moon. An echo of what is, what was and what is still to be. Seems so far away. Makes us feel like we shouldn't be here. Like we should be out there exploring. One day we could be. Living, breathing, caring. Where our race would thrive and build a new empire. I was 15.

I rarely start in on a story until I have some idea of the ultimate destination. That way, I'm working toward something. It gives the story a sense of purpose. In a word: plot.
If you're not sure where your story is supposed to be going, try writing a one-page synopsis. By summarizing your storytelling goals, structure emerges. Keep your eyes open for turning points. An unexpected twist will keep your reader turning pages.
Keep with it!

I haven't gotten my hands on one of your books yet, but I do like the concept (as I understand it to be) and definitely appreciate that they're written for a younger audience than most stories I've seen of that particular genre.
By any chance, are you familiar with any of the books by Frank Peretti? While doubtless your story carries a far lighter tone than his works, I felt a similar vibe when reading your summaries.

Yes, I'm quite familiar with Frank Peretti. And yes, it's safe to say that my books are different than most angel stories in the YA bracket. Most notably, there aren't any romantic entanglements. But, ah, friendship! Now, that is a treasure worth finding.

Frank Peretti: very exciting to read at night.
I completely agree with you. Much as I don't mind a bit of light romance once in a while, I wish people could understand that in fiction it is possible for a girl to have a guy friend without being romantically inclined... and vice versa.

There are all kinds of stories for all kinds of people. I think every author hopes that just the right reader will stumble across their books ... and fall in love.

Wierd experience just happened. Went to read Turtle-arts Journal, read that you write books (something I do myself, but Im yet to be published, its my dream and I congratulate you for already being there, it must be magical!) So, I went into your page because I got curious, read about your books, and thought they sounded great, (you write in the same genre and elements as I) looked to the side, saw your faves and saw my sisters art!! "Fire, Fire" by *Vattukatt . And I was all like WOW!!! XD Its a small world indeed. Haha. Sorry for writing all this, but it was so fun for me that I had to. And now I wanna read your books!

Oooh, yes! I've been following your sister for a while now!
If you want to sample my writing for free, there are a couple of stories on my website. One's a companion to the Threshold Series, and the other's a recently-completed fantasy tale. And by all means, nab the book! -wink-
It's nice to bump into a fellow-writer!

Thats so cool! She is drawing for my storys!
Thank you so much, I will do just that! And yeah, I love books, and I got so intrigued by reading about your "The Blue Door", I just have to read it! And I have to say that I think you are amazing to write so much and everywhere! Both on the net and for publishing, and different storys! I write a trilogy and it take up all my brain and time and Im only on the first book in the series yet. And then I thought it would be easier to wirte and get together nr 2, but noooo. Ive got so much and so many ways I could do it. Ah, sorry for my rambling, anyways, I think you are truly skilled!
Really nice to bump into you to!
I will be following you and your storys from now on!
