Entry for the Tomb Raider: A Survivor is Born- contestI'm a bit of a TR junkie and always have been, my graduation present was a life size cut out of Tomb Raider lol seriously, Im pretty sure my dream job involves working with the Tomb Raider franchise
now on to the technical-
I have been trying to work on implied details with my art, rather than detailing every last bit til I die, I find it to be more effective although sometimes detailing overload is fun
I may provide some closeups later with a link to my Tumblr account.
----side note- the shark is not being punctured with the pitch axe Lara has, it is being tossed in his general direction..so no animals were harmed in this image

a facial expression would have taken this a long way further. looks like she's in a trance and has no idea where she's shooting that arrow. just saiyan o_o

LOOL No animals were harmed in this image but it sure looks like people were. What really caught my attention in my thumbnail was her pose, that arch of her back really looks natural and adds to her personality. Well done on the face as well, she's striking and her expression shows that she means shit. I love the background, the burst of colours implying flora and fauna and the water sloshing and splashing into the air.
