I love chess, I play against my husband, but I never win (even when he deliberately tries to lose).
I just like the history behind the game and how much planning each move takes.
I like the game, but it doesn't like me; I don't plan, I'm spontaneous...which is why my 'strategies' always fail. lol.

I would agree that this has a Dali effect, and is extremely imaginative and creative, not sure how to describe it.

I saw someone mention it had a Dali feel, but to me it reminds me of Neo Rauch and he happens to be my favorite DaDaist, so I really like this piece. I love the way it's nearly monochromatic until you see the blue cut accross it; the blue adds a contast and makes the things it's attatched to really pop to me. The way how every object seems to be blending/fading into it's surroundings, as if unraveling I guess you could say; even the checker board is falling into the sandy landscape. It is very surreal, and it's just a wonderful piece to look at because new things keep coming forward the more I look at it.
