This is the full version of the concept for my avatar character Axer with a couple adjustments, back view, mask-less versions and clothing variants for styleguide.Large image since it has all the variants on one sheet.

I like how you gave him different hairstyles. Hair becomes a part of a character's design just like clothes, and it too falls into the trap of "same thing every day". Of course most people style their hair differently day to day, just like changing clothes.

Jesus christ Jay, this is simply outstanding. The anatomy is nicely done, muscled and toned without being overly so.
I can't deny loving the gasmask and such, seeing as that's a fetish.
But the clothing? The CLOTHING? I wish I could find that for sale. I know some people who could probably make it, but damn.
And of course, you work hexagons into what you do in some places and (and I'm sure I'm not the only one) I am just... there's a deep psychological attraction to them. Likely because of how important they are in nature, it's part of our being.
But all in all, incredible. You never fail to please, Jay.

Two questions (if you have time):
1) Any story behind the shoulder/facial scars?
2) Any chance of seeing the wing structure from the back (at a later date maybe)?
I'm still astounded by how different diverse this is from some of your older work yet still has that distinct 'all technical detail' feel to it that characterises your work (zips, creases, inner faceting on the torso panels).
