Iβve always wondered if he was the dead hero before Link from twilight princess came, he seems to know a lot of in game moves and teaches them to link and he says my son when you get the last scroll.... IS HE LINKS DAD?!?!?

The Hero's Shade was confirmed in Hyrule Historia to be the spirit of the Hero of Time (i.e. OoT/MM Link) and Link's ancestor. So kind of.

Actually the Skyward sword Link is the first and original hero. Oot Link was the one who split the time line up to the 3 different time lines.

It's actually an interesting twist that the Hero's Shade is actually Link from Ocarina and Majoras Mask.

Bold, heroic, that owl, though. I really appreciate the shield and banner on his waist, there are some details that I wish I could have captured from the game, and this does that well, I think. This haz been faved.

The Hero's Shade is most definatley one of my favorite Zelda characters out there. Especially when you consider that he was once the Hero of time and everything he's gone through. Majora's Mask comes to mind more so than Ocarina of Time. It makes me truly wonder how it must feel to be stuck in a time loop where everything keeps almost being destroyed, and where you can't save everyone in a single loop. To say that had a bad time would be an understatement. This is what happens when a hero meets a terrible fate.

Also, do you remember when he taught the Shield Bash? He used magic...I wonder if our Link was going to do that in the game, Skyward Sword was the next LoZ game, right? Maybe that was just them opening the possibilities of the Hero of Time learning the Sword Beam, but I like to think that all Links could potentially do that.

Such an awesome piece of one of the coolest and most unsung LOZ characters. Your level of detail is amazing, and I love that pose. Really hope you do another one from before his death as I really think this guy needs more love.

What is Painter XI? I hope that you don't believe thatΒ he's a Stalfos because he isn't. So many people assume that.

And I know he's not a stalfos

He is a Stalfos actually. Young Link from OoT saved Hyrule and Termina. However both events reverted time so no one knew of the his heroics. After saving Termina Link continued his quest to find Navi's spirit in the lost woods. Unfortunately the mysteries of the woods took him. As it is said "The spirit of those who get lost in the Lost Woods will forever walk the earth as a Stalfos."

that is incorrect. Stalfos are mindless skeletal monsters that despise the living; a perversion of their living forms. The Hero's shade is just that, a shade, a ghost. He does not have a physical form and most certainly still has his mind. Even if he got lost and died in the Lost Woods, his spirit is already bound, in a sense, by Demise's curse (Skyward Sword) to the cycle of the Hero and both blessed and cursed by the goddesses because of his destiny. The curse of the Lost Woods would be too weak to overpower that kind of magic. Lastly, there is the grave of the cursed swordsman in the Hyrule Castle grounds, which is implied to be his final resting place, and his very ceremonial, but damaged, armor hints to a position of great status in Hylian society and most likely death in a battle. The shade's missing right eye also hints to this. If he died in the Lost Woods, it would be very difficult to recover his body to bury in Hyrule Castle. He may have still been affected by the curse of the Lost Woods in some way, but he's definitely not a Stalfos and the main reason his spirit is bound to the world is regret at not being able to pass on what he learned. Once he does this in Twilight Princess, his spirit is finally able to pass on, something which no Stalfos could ever do (well unless they are destroyed maybe).
