Description
Basically this pic is the first version ofthe pic was just roughtly pencilled, and Harley were wearing the same kind of clothes. But this pic didn't had the humorous feeling I wanted to achieve, so I kept it for an other occasion
Yersterday's night I was tolding to myself "ah dammit tomorrow is that damn Valentine's day, and I did nothing for that"
(the only pic I did for the February 14th, was this one>
Then I took back this pic and... well as I was sure It wouldn't be colored in time, and that, well I already kinda did the same pic with the mistletoe version, I decided to try somthing else.
I brought me back around 8 years ago, when I was used to draw darker stuff, more in the Silvestri or Finch way. So I was a bit ruster with all these crosshatchings
The hardest part,I think, is to begin. I mean I had a full clean & inked work; and suddenly I decided to crosshatch the whole stuff, making grey values with these. It's very tricky because you fear to kill your pic. In the first steps; that was basically what I felt. But, you know, once you started, you can't go back; so you have to follow your path in this. Once EVERYTHING is -at least- lightly crosshatched; you generally have a better "harmony" in the picture, so, you can now focus on you light source !

basically all my work is inked, it's just that you also got the colors, and I often color the line itself
