Your children are always so serious-looking! No smiles and giggles and mindless grinning children, you always seem to be after a more adult expression, even with such a young model.

I have the impression of a girl from the streets - maybe selling wildflowers or matchsticks - saved from her lot in life, and cleaned up. Still unsure of her new place, not quite willing to believe that good things can happen, but still hopeful.
