Personality: Pembe is, like her friend Mbango, a very complicated horse. She is highly mistrusting, serious and protective. Towards foals she is very sweet and an excellent mother, however towards other horses she is exremely forceful, which ended her up in a seperate pasture with Mbango, as the two equilopes kept threatening the other horses with their horns. Pembe is an great endurance and cross country horse, due to her high stamina and great jumping skills. She absolutely hates the rumas, Fufuka and the game he keeps playing, stalking around their pasture, just to annoy the two hot-headed equilope mares. She will only accept equilope stallions, for other stallions it could get very dangerous, as she's not scared to use her horns against them. She often fights with Mbango, but they still are best friends and would protect each other fiercly. Hugh forbid to go on the equilope pasture alone, because the two are plain unpredictable. She only can be ridden by very experianced riders.
