Description
Biollante was a plant-shaped Titan long ago, but while defending the land,
Anguirus defeated Ghidorah with his colleagues Godzilla and Mothra, he went into deep sleep to recover,
and when Anguirus disappeared, Biollante took the forest's vitality and began to eat the animals.
So gradually it began to harm the balance of the earth and eventually Biollante was burned to death by Godzilla.

Then, in 2021, Monarch found the roots of Biollante, which remained in the ground.
The roots hide into the Monarch research base and eat up the scales and skin fragments of Godzilla.
And it swallows up the roses that Erica's DNA is injected into.
(Erica is the daughter of Dr. Shiragami. She was killed by terrorists while sealing off the area where Biollante's roots remained.
So Dr. Shiragami injected Erica's DNA into the rose that Erica cherished because she missed her daughter.)

Thus, Biollante, who has been resurrected in a new look, battles Godzilla once again to avenge the past.
