TimelapseNo internet over Easter weekend, so I drew my tablet! Wacom Bamboo Splash. Only drew her once before , and suddenly felt like drawing her again, because I love her design and I hate how I don't draw my digital girls very much.

That pen is far too short, and there was some experimenting with lighting, but still overall super happy with this. ;u;

This is awesome, I just recently got my bamboo splash; still trying to figure out everything. How did you get the bokeh effect in the background? Love this

Ahh, well, I drew the character in MyPaint and worked in GIMP for the background. For the bokeh effect, I just manually put different sized circles around with different opacities. Super simple, but a really nice touch to help create a nice, minimalist background. Especially for a lazy person like me.
I hope your tablet treats you well! I have to say, it took me a good five months to finally manage the change from traditional to digital. So you need to be patient, don't push yourself! ^u^

And those glowy bits were interesting, because, working on it up close, it seems really awkward to work with, but after seeing the thing all done, it's not so bad - very peculiar.
