For monthly group challenge of

The theme for January 2020 was

a forest

I took it as an opportunity to do a re-draw of one of my old arts ( : It was one of my first (if not first) lineless, soft-shading attempts is SAI, it featured my forest spirit OC Adelinde and I recall asking barn-swallow , myks0 and Miriel3 for help A LOT :'D

I thought it might be interesting to see how it would look like drawn and coloured in a style that I'm more comfortable with, and if I can make composition better. I was quite afraid that it would show more of a regress than a progress, as soft shading usually looks much more advanced in drawings, but I actually really like how it turned out ♥ and it makes me happy to see that maybe I don't have to forefully try to change my style in order to improve. They are really different so it's hard to compare, but I find the older one kind of boring, even if shading might be prettier, especially on her hair :'D
