Apparently they're one of the top five rarest dog breeds in the world - that's pretty cool.

Remove the shadow [option in the bottom right of the leg position tab] because it won't fit the actual size.
This model cannot have its size changed with the height slider, unfortunately - only with code hacking. If you'd like to change the size of the dog but don't know how to edit the code, note me for help.
The eyes and mouths can be changed. Mouth options 7, 17, 18, 19, 30, 31, 78, 81, 82, & 83 are recommended.
Feel free to recolor.

My guess as to what's happening is that you're changing the color from the tool that changes the color of all the hair pieces.
Instead of doing that, go to the second hair tab & cycle through the list of all the hair pieces. Leave the white pieces white, and turn the brown pieces to whatever color you want them to be.
Then go to the first hair tab and change the color of the second hair color selection section - the one without 'ALL' written under it.
