I've thought about making a new Sona for myself for years. I did the first sketches of this character in 2018, then some more in 2019. The character was still female back then and I didn't really click with it. Only when I decided to make them non-binary in 2020 did I finally feel that connection I had been looking for.
It's not that I don't like Dae anymore, but he's not really that viable anymore as a Sona - complicated design with very rigid facial structure, completed story etc. I wanted a more casual character that I could draw in all kinds of situations.

Finished this reference some time last year. I only uploaded it on Buzzly so far but my Acc there vanished ofc xD
I plan on doing a separate sheet with a few outfit options as well, but I'm slow as always
