The finished version of Metal.This is my first time working with ai cs5 and I am pleased with the speed and the new draw inside settings.
Tools, blends and brushes.
4 hrs thanks to the draw inside automatic clipping mask!

I really like the drawing modes but they have much work to do with the new brushes,
"you cant create your own out of objects" and the perspective tool "it's destructive"!

4 hours wow, nice work, that tool must be a real time saver, cause this looks like a very labor intensive piece. Love the orange highlights against the blue and gray of the piece, it pops so well.

I really don't have to create the clipping mask anymore,and cs5 runs on a 64 bit system so its like 100 times faster.
This file is about 25 mb and I never got a " cannot finish previewing"
message!
And without a save process dialog box!!!!

that is amazing! I really wish I had the money to get CS5, I'm on CS3, and though I didn't see much of a reason to get CS4 I keep hearing wonderful things about this new one. Not having to create a clipping mask would be awesome and save so much time for me too.

I run both, but I would probably get it for my mac if I was going to get it. I've kind of switched from doing all my work on my pc to doing it on my mac laptop, that way I can just sit on the couch with my wacom to work, I find it kind of boring to sit in front of my pc. I like to watch cartoons while I'm working
