I like your warping techniques with the houses. That is pretty cool. The only thing I have to say though is that the land on the horizon looks like it ends to early with the fade. If you had a wider horizon (by copying, blending, and compressing the water as the distance grows,) it would be more realistic. But great job! I found it in ShutupandWhisper's journal "very regretful." It caught my eye.
