One of the sentinels at Khubu island under a glowing milkyway. The whole scene was illuminated by nothing other than the stars.

Funny, I always heard that a f/1.4 wouldn't work with a milky way shot. I guess they were wrong!

The lens becomes quite soft overall and in the corners at 1.4, but 1.8 is still surprisingly good!

Would soft corners really matter in a shot like this, where the attention of the viewer is directed more towards the centre? The darkness might also hide the corners a bit.
