First of all I would like to say I love this photo and it's going in my favorites.
I hope I can give you some good advice.
What I like about this photo is: The color is great, love the rain drops on the ends and how the reflection of the flower shows in every one. It's a perfect macro shot in my opinion.
What I don't like about it: Well there is really not a whole lot I don't like about it, okay there is nothing I don't like about this.
Overall Great photo and keep up the great work!

Hi there, I tried to take flower + droplets before but it always seem that my droplets are either too small, or the overall isn't result isn't convincing.

Could you share with me how you took this picture?

Thank you very much.

Of course! For this picture I used my hose and misting attactment to water the flower. I got a little lucky with the water, it stayed like that for some time. As far as drops being too small - what type of lens are you using to capture it? For this picture, I used an old canon 100mm (35mm equivalent of 200mm on my camera) macro lens with a 4x magnifier - this made the water droplets look bigger than they actually were.

What do you mean by the result isn't convincing? In what way?

I don't know if I answered your question, let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck!

I use the old nikkor manual macro lens on Nikon D90.

it's called micro-nikkor-P.C Auto 1:3.5 f=55mm
manufactured long long time ago~

well if I zoom out the lens to maximum, on the lens it says 1:1.

the result was kinda more dull, and doesn't show the leaf being lively with the water drops~

I will upload it and you can see. Then tell me what you think, k~

thanks for sharing with me~~~

I'll take a look at it once you have it uploaded.

I added you to my watch, but let me know when it's up just in case I don't get notified.
