It was taken in Northern Germany, near my former home town. 52°19'21.87"N 10° 5'41.75"E to be very exact!

Ist zwischen Mehrum und Hämelerwald entstanden, um es ganz genau zu machen. Das liegt bei Lehrte und das widerum bei Hannover!

I love seeing these clear sunsets/rises. Where I live, the sunset is practically a tourist attraction. We have some local markets along a beach for 6 months out of the year with lots of stalls selling jewellery, clothes, food etc. so lots of tourists and locals just flock there to have dinner on the beach and watch sunsets like this

Ah, don't make me jealous!
These kind of sunsets (no sunrise: too early for me) really are rare here. This is mainly because the air in Germany is one of the clearest of all industrialized nations - and dirt in the air makes it red and romantic - absurb, but it's the truth!
