This is an ode to all the scientists who struggled to bring knowledge to the world and suffered the consequences. They were wary that their discoveries were challenging social structures of order, and so were religious and secular authorities. This tension was not about religious fanatism whatsoever, but about maintaining social power structures and balances: In fact, very learned churchmen studied these scientific propositions very carefully before rejecting them. People of past times had brains in their skulls, let's remember that more often

This piece comes out of an odd medley between soviet propaganda, Gothic script and an audacious palette. Still, I am pretty happy with the output ^^

It also speaks volumes of my own experience at the University. They say, "dare to know". What they don't say is that you'll pay for it, and I'm not talking about money. Mental health issues and no job opportunities outside the institution that made you go sick also take their toll. In reverse you may get personal growth (or not). So everyone should think twice before daring to know...
