There hasn't really been any major inspiration for this picture, except for maybe the horse creature haha, I'm sad to say I don't have the original source, but I uploaded the picture that gave me the idea to my photobucket: [link] it seems to be some sort of sculpture, if anyone know the source for it then please tell me.
Other than that I used some ''horse riding'' pictures from google for the general pose.

this is really good, I love the coloring and how you didn't use the typical "grim reaper" style to draw death. This is awesome!

I reeeeally love this pic! it is ... captivating, I can't manage to find a better word to describe the feeling it's giving off. by the way... what program do u use to draw?? to tell the truth I've never drawn on the computer, plus the only 'drawing program' I know is Paint -__-" ... thus the question! pleaseee answer

The horse is made out of a tree, which they also have in the art museum in washington D.C

But the horse sculpture is made by Deborah Butterfield! When I saw the horse you did, it immediately reminded me of her work. Sure enough, you linked to a piece of hers.

In some ways. I've found after getting to know Sai a little better that a combination of the two are great. It's just a matter of whatever floats your boat when it comes to choosing the better program.

Oh! There is a student sculpture (that's been on the campus for 6 years now) that looks exactly the same as the one in the photograph (same size and structure...i love walking past it every time i have class) but the background in the picture doesn't quite look like my campus. So I'm not sure if one is a replica/inspired by the other?
