The other day when I looked over jbwarner86's gallery, I was really impressed. I was particularly fascinated by his water pictures...I'd never seen anything like them. I thought it would be an interesting challenge to do one, and an idea popped into my head for a James Bond themed piece. In "The Spy Who Loved Me", evil genius Karl Stromberg shows Bond his underwater city with it's windows to the ocean. I just took his mad scientist abilities a little further than the movie did - he's able to convert human beings into sea creatures with gills, as Agent Fry has just discovered...Related content

I was 14 when I saw it in a theater in Cincinnati in 1977...we really enjoyed it - and Barbara Bach wasn't hard on the eye either...

Nice cartoon and the only wrong with it is that it honors the film the spy who loved me. I don't know if roger moore or the fact that it had nothing to with ian fleming's novel was its biggest mistake. Mr Stromberg though was as cool as your caricature. Yeah...I wish now that I had given the link (I still can), because I think JB's pic is absolute genius. I have to admit that I've only read one Bond novel, but I'm a huge fan of the movies...even when they suck, there's still something fun in them. You have to admit that at this point they're really just big money-making monsters..."You Only Live Twice" was really the last of the great ones. But I still love the villians...they're just so much fun. And those minions, from Odd Job to Tee Hee, and Jaws...hell, I even liked the Flint movies...nerdy plots, but fun. Thanks for the input.

Those pool pictures were just so different...this was the first idea that hit me after seeing your pic with Zapp and Leela in the tank - it made me think of Stromberg and Dr. No with their fishtanks...

I must say, this is an interesting idea! (though I can't imagine Leela being a damsel in distress, you know how she usually kicks ass by herself)
