Their shared sorrow is endless and all-consuming…but at least the sun is rising….»

Whoever this piece is and was dedicated to, shifts like the seasons and is lost in time.
At this point I guess it’s my own little show of pity to those who are forced to love in darkness.

about the series:

Angelwings & Ravenclaws pt 1 started out as a single piece and represents a massive shift in my artstyle and overall path as an artist. It is the first piece in this full greyscale style and tho it first started out as something purely about romantic love and the agony that comes with it, it eventually grew into something bigger that celebrates all kinds of love. Especially deep friendships, soul-bonds and chosen family.

The series is planned to have 22 parts in total (3 are finished so far), filled with portraits and animal art, representaing some very important people in my personal life.
