Random scenario for my portfolio as an environment illustration. I don't think it's completely finished but I'll repost when it is.Drawn and colored in Photoshop. Can u you find the tourists?

This piece is brilliant.
Here you have a scene full of strange creatures but the purple-robed creatures stand out the most because they are the strangest and least humanoid.
They're like aliens to the aliens.
I really like their design too, they're kind of creepy and enigmatic.

Looking at the way the robe forms against the legs, and the way it interacts with the upper body, I'd have to guess they looked like some sort of cross between a long-necked bird and some sort of stick bug.

Fantastic, I love how wonderfully bizzare this is, the creatures are all so odd looking but well done, and the alien scripts really do look foreign. I also like how there is some meshing of the races though, like in the lower right. For some reason though, my favorite are the two purple things, they caught my eye immediately.
