Amazing capture! The light and fog create such a mystical mood to this. The shadows and fog hide details from the eye, but not from our imagination - and thatΒ΄s what makes this photo so good.

you know, I have a weekness for special lighting, and this shot, as well as the other blue portrait I faved, are fulfilling my tastes in terms of light, shadows, and this feel of mystery they have.

Lovely capture, I like the idea of the white counter balance at the top left, but I feel that in this case it is a little too disracting for me, it seems to distract from the moodiness of the monk. On the otherhand with the tree branches it does add an air of menace to the image and lifts it above being an ordinary image to one with more interpretation and thought required.
Hmm, I'm going to have to think on this one.
