Awww wow he is sooo skiny my little boy weighed 6lb 10 (3kg) at birth and at 4 months he weighed 15 and 1/2lb- he looks like such a fatty compared to your slim jim. He's stunnig. Love the blur!

Two things. I like the picture a lot, it's adorable. However, either you are editting your images to blur them unbelievably to an unreal degree or you are using depth of field wrong.
I say this because HIS left eye is in focus and the other isn't. That's the first thing I noticed. Otherwise the composition is good and blah blah-- he's a cute little kid (you must be so proud) and I bet he looks even cuter when he smiles.

The focus is on his left eye, and I shot this at f/1.4.... how can you use depth of field wrong, out of curiosity? I chose to have the blur, and we bought that lens mainly for this purpose. I never add blur in photoshop. I enjoy blur. Personal preference. Thanks though.
