Description
jill at sunrise.travelling towards the light.
her personality visible.
this was my first roll of film from my instamatic, and i love it! the colours are so beautiful. i only needed to resize this. there is no photoshop editing in this at all. no curves, not contrast, no nothing. totally raw.

Wow, this is absolutely AWESOME! That camera sounds so absolutely kick-ass -- is it like a polaroid camera?

nah, it's like a 35mm, but takes 35mm square
film.
it's the film equivalent of a digi point and shoot,
only has two focus settings.

reminds me of road trips and films made in the early 90's.
It has a strong narrative. In other words...I can hear what shes thinking (or want to at least). A bit under exposed, but lovely feel.
as always, im glad when you try different things. This is the best way to find your feet and a unique style that will eventually say "Genevieve" without you putting your name on it.
I like it on an emotional level. Its a little bit dull, but this is mainly a instamatic camera issue.Still....pretty darn cool.

aw sweeeet! i was going for the roadtrips
idea.
yeah, i really thought that this shot showed
her personality.
yeah, the instamatic only has two focus
settings! it really is quite amusing! 2-6
feet and 6 feet and beyond! it's so funny!
i think i like the underexposed feel though.
cause i think if it had been any lighter i
would have lopst the lovely warm red glow,
and the blue/mauve sky. anyway, thank you so
much for your feedback. i love hearing from you!
and i can't wait to come visit next year!
