This was my entry for the breast cancer awareness art contest sponsored by theotaku.com and AnimeFF, a non-profit anime convention in Las Vegas. I used Photoshop for some color correction, but otherwise, the entire thing was painted in Painter. I kind of lost track of how much time it took (actually, I forgot to start keeping track), but I can say that I spent way too long on it... Oh, and the full title is supposed to be "On the Threshold of a New World" but it was one character too long... -_-;
