I always liked Liara's green uniform better than the white and blue one from the later games.

This is a great way to relax. I really like how good this looks, too. You have the expression and pose down perfect.

I've been trying to nail the skin tone and texture matching forever and a day. If you had a guide, or could PM me I sure would appreciate it.

I do the texture and skin tone separately. In the GIMP, First align the texture with the perspective of the body part (usually just a lot of copy pasting and using the perspective tool) then paint her skin tone where skin is exposed (usually a desaturated blue with grey and pink painted over it in some places). I then set the layer with the texture as "overlay" and the skin tone layer to "colour".
Finally match the colours to the lighting of the photograph or vice versa.
Hope it helps

It does, I can translate that into photoshop. What about the texture of the skin? Do you overlay the model for that as well? (e.g. line up model in XNA Lara and over lay from there?)

Well you could try to replicate the pose in XNA Lara... I'd either make the skin texture myself using some stock images of scales or use the texture file that came with the XNA model.

I gotcha. Scale texture can be extracted and applied. You've given me something to think about thanks again I was going to start wrapping it around the model. Time consuming.
