Uhm, you should try something with a little more light. Try layer modes like screen, soft light and lighten, and use lighter colours. If you want spring, you want white and such

Thanks yea i had so much more light and white at first, and then kept changing my mind between darker and lighter haha. I maybe should have just left it with more white
