Description
The temperature is always rising
to unbearable heights.
Fire surrounds every corner
it even fills the skies.
Can't take this heat any lounger
could always leave it behind.
But it's hypnotic beauty
keeps on bringing me back.

Scorching hot
as the surface of a burning sun.
Braving the heat
but the journey has only begun.

Churning Forever,Eternal Flame.
Run though the fire
be determined to never bend.

Churning Forever,Eternal Flame.
No matter the struggle
do press on, all the way to the end.

And now you understand...

This is anouther doodle that coudn't be saved by traditional methods - cuz it be surrunded with lines notes etc... ;a;
I'm not entirely proud of it Mario doesn't look good, I am loving the background - the suns need a bit of work though ah well.

Actually, I really like this. I'm not sure if you used Corel Painter or not, but if not, that program is specifically coded to duplicate the look and feel of traditional materials. (Also, it's a lot cheaper than Photoshop.) You'd like it, I think.

Also, I think Mario is such a small component of the work that it wouldn't catch the average audience, but I can see how you'd get annoyed. (His legs look a little wobbly, with his turning and all. Then again, this is a tiny detail, so it's hard to notice this. If it bothers you, you can always go back and fix it if you want.)

I truly mean it!
Ah. GIMP's not a bad program at all (especially considering that it's freeware). It's just that in general, both GIMP and the Adobe Suite (including Photoshop) are geared more for graphics than illustrations. You might have to save up for Corel's pricetag, though. It's not cheap. D: Paintool Sai is a lot cheaper, and you might find use in it, too.

It's totally fine! We all live and learn, right?
