Bird: Spotted owletΒ (Athene brama)My debut photograph of the owl ever in my life. I'm glad I debuted it with reasonable details. The eye pupils have weird sizes. Dunno if his right eye was thinking more deeply than left eye.

How nice ! I like a lot howls. When I was a child, I had a book about a small Athena Howl (ChevΓͺche, as it named in French) and I keep a fond memory of it, and the small spotted howl that was exactly like this one.

Yeah. it was my first experience with owl. Never saw an owl other than pecking my head at night in university days or office days. This was like waiting for me to photograph him.

Yes, if I remember well, howls represents wiseness due to their association with Athena/Minerva. They have such a unique look among other birds. ^^ You're right, maybe this is the same cute little howl of t he book.
I didn't see "Big eyes" still ! And I love Tim Burton's movies, but I will - indeed, they have big eyes too. ^^
