Welcome to 2023 year of the Rabbit got this idea the 31st and just got it finished today. More of a little passion project between many others, that feeling of sailing through space, and through time. What is this life, that I feel like I'm 90 years old and have lived many different lives, as the stages have been so very unconventionnaly different. My body on the other hand feels younger than when I was 14. Am I floating in space, or in time.. or both.. am I swimming, or just floating down a predetermined current.

People say life goes by so quickly. I do absolutely not agree. So I must be in a parallel-slow lane. Not that it's boring - I've never known boredom personnaly. I seen the word in the dictionary but I don't understand the true meaning of the word "boredom". I mean yes I have been bored when forced to do things I didn't want to for 12 hours in a row. But as soon as I start swimming in my current again, I have so much to do, I don't even know where to begin. From the beginning, I guess, I try. I try to grab the watch but the current drags me on...
oh well there I go rambling again

I've always felt a special connection with rabbits. I tend to say they're "my people" And I love drawing them. So here's one to begin a hopefully happy Rabbit year. This was one chaos of creation, I used so many different types of pencils but mostly Derwent. And the background is watercolor. Unfortunately it curled up the paper, and even though water-paper-heavy-load pressing it over night, it curled a little again. So the head didn't scan all clear. But here she is! A blue eyed rabbit trying to figure out what current is transporting her this year, this time, this place...
