Mandelbulb 3D 1.8.9Another render I'm not entirely happy with, tried to use V Light but it didn't work out too well, perhaps it's just not the right sort of fractal for V Light...
Did some minor post in PS CS3, brightness/contrast and overlayed a black>transparent gradient to increase contrast on only part of the image...
Offering this as Premium Content, the Premium Content version is 5000x3500 (suitable for standard 4:3 monitor wallpaper) and the Premium version does not have borders, titles or copyright info...

Fanciest drain ever...a bit complex to clean however.

well, it can be done, but it's a bit tricky... the position of the light has to be just right for it to work... my next submission will have V Light and it worked out pretty well, but I took forever to figure out exactly where I wanted the light

Couldn't arrive at any conclusions after a first glance at V Lights. Perhaps I get easily annoyed for something that's so relatively easy in Bryce...not to mention putting just a stupid ball with a decent accuracy.

Isn't that always the way? I keep thinking that myself. That said...
I love this one, because despite the issues wit hthe lighting I can see some excellent forms and foundations in there. I also like the texture of the background a lot.
