Why thank you, got a few ideas yet to come. Working on a new one as we speak and he's coming along nicely I think.

I think you should definitely do it, I always love seeing other people's sculptural work. And your work is really good. He'd look fab for sure.

Thats so kind and nice of you to say.
Thats actually exactly what I aim for. These days I really have no interest in sculpting relaxed or neutral likenesses, because they all tend to come out looking dead. Bowie is an absolute gift and I think I'll be sculpting him for a long while yet.

It's a thing I battle with drawing portraits and stuff, cos all the good references of people usually are very neutral, but no-one in motion is neutral, no-one's personality really shines without an expression. That's why I go through still of video and try to find as lively scenes as possible to avoid "dead" look.

Plus it would be such a waste to make Bowie-art still and lifeless

You do manage getting characterful likenesses very well indeed. Some of the best I've seen I must say. 

With Bowie I'm feeling I'm pulling away from "iconic" looks and moving more towards unique expressions because I find them bring him alive
