They came up and landed right on my head! I don't know if this was because they're used to being fed by strangers, or if they're just like that.

They're very used to being fed by people with the white cups. I bet if you were to go in with a red one, may not get the same results. Haven't tried it yet.
There's a few that will come up and hang out on you anyway. A few of the babies are pretty social, it's hard to tell them apart now because they've grown up a bit.

Wish I lived a little closer though. It's about an hour and a half commute there.

I'm about that far away, too. I just went last Sunday, it was rainy, but not at all crowded.

Winter is one of the best times to go. Less people. But some animals aren't out, like in Africa the hoof stock tends to be inside. I really want to see the new giraffe boy outside.

Yeah, the giraffes were inside, and we couldn't see the zebras at all.
