No, they are actually not related to each other. The body shape is similar because the ecological niche is about the same, but the mentality is diffrent. Bohuslän trolls are much more socially competent than the Groke.

I love them of course. I love the artwork of the author of the books as well. They are wonderfully complex as children's lierature and for grown ups as well. Did you know that Thingumy and Bob and their ruby is a metaphor for lesbian love in an intolerant society?
