Hey, here's my entry to 's latest contest! I can't believe I finished in time. Sorry for any and all mistakes; I was a bit rushed at the end, but I really wanted to get it done.The theme was events from the games, so I decided to base mine on the scene in Rocket Town when Cid is first encountered. But as you can see, I've re-written it somewhat.
When I was playing, during this scene, I'm fairly certain that my party consisted of Cloud, Tifa, and Vincent, so I drew this to be true to my game experience, ha ha.

Cloud and Cid are so similar (like brothers, or maybe cousins)
Last panel- I want to see teardrop in Cid's eyes. Or maybe him saying "This man know how to drink tea, he will be my wife soon."

And yes, that is definitely what Cid is thinking, though he has to hide his true feelings beneath a veneer of coolness.
