The Wanderer - Pareronia Hippi

So I've been inspired and excited lately to go back and repaint my older pieces (I have more in store) but this is one of my favorite originals that I've done. I had originally meant this to be part of a series, but I hadn't really gotten time to do more. I still want to do it, but I'll definitely have to dedicate time to doing more, I'm think one based around a Luna moth next or Monarch butterfly? We'll see! But anyways, I hated my old piece, there was just so much going wrong with it that I wanted to not only change her hand positions, the butterfly-wing details, her dress and just general, quality of life changes, that I just decided, "what the hell? why not doing the entire piece over?" and that's exactly what I did. I actually modeled this after myself in terms of posing and head shape and it was weird doing that -- I've not really used photos for reference material, mainly just my imagination, but perhaps that has helped me to improve a little? Anyways, I hope you all like it, feedback and comments are always welcome!
