Well I hope you all like this one. It looks way better in person, cause the scanner made it way too light in the picture, but none-the-less, here it is. Eve was deceived by Satan (aka the Devil) into eating from the Tree of Good and Evil, and Adam, her husband, also ate from the tree. For disobeying God and bringing sin into the world, along with pain, misfortune, and imperfection, they were kicked out of the Garden of Eden.

Haha. We don't know for sure if it was an apple. I don't know why everyone predicts it as an apple, it doesn't even say that. It just says 'fruit'.

I'm fairly convinced that there's no way it was an apple. grapes... a pomegranate... something like that sounds more like it. Also, though, I'm fairly certain that it never actually blatantly says that the serpent was "Satan" it just says something like "The serpent, who was the most cunning of all the animals God had made"

You definitely should work more with biblical imagery! This is a powerful and very beautiful piece, I love how you've contrasted the beauty and innocence of Eve with the evil and deceit of the serpent. Great work.

I plan to draw a picture of Jezebel from 1 & 2 Kings. I thought she would be interesting to draw. Even though we have no idea what she looked like, except for evil! ;]

Ooh, I'd love to see how you do Jezebel. I have a few ideas: lots of eye shadow, a fancy crown and a seductive costume for starters.
