I saw the thumbnail of this deviation and immediatly wanted to see the picture in full size. I'm pretty sure this was due to the contrast between the warm colors to the left and the bluish shades to the right. It looks so harmonic despite the different hues, I just love it!
Then, when I clicked the thumbnail, I could see the photograph better and wasn't disappointed at all. The attention is is drawn right away to the model's eyes and expression. Somehow I can't stop staring at his beautiful face and keep wondering what he could be thinking about.
I think the soft light works perfectly on this picture, as well as the blurred background.

Wow, he looks so much like the Drum & Bass legend Netsky (Boris Daenen) in this photo.. Excellent shot!
I found your work a few months ago on Miobi and have ever since been a fan of how you use color glares (and sometimes blurred obstructions) to emphasize such an elegant contrast of lighting in your photos. Somehow the focus on your subject never deducts from the presence of the background.
I don't know how you do it, man, but it's like the subject and background are blended without actually being mixed together.. but they still play equal parts in the presentation. Impressive work, like always!

A simple yet so effective. The style of the models hair and position of head works well. No distracting elements with lovely lighting.

Nice bokeh, fine focus on his facial details. Lighting is spot on, and the model is very nice looking. I like the shallow D.O.F. It emphasizes his eyes and mouth. There is certainly room for gay models on this site. In fact, there is room for everything except intolerance!
