Description
I felt like refreshing Autan's look for the new year. His design is a tad simplified and some of his caracteristics have changed. C:

When I imagine Autan, I see him as a proud young father. Though, I never came up with a clear vision of his daughter. All I can say is that he's a proud but very protective parent. His girl often leaves the house in secret to spend some time with his grandfather, Soren. Autan is afraid of the influence this could have on his daughter, on her element especially. Deep in his heart, he hopes she won't turn into a dark shinlai too, like Soren.
Maybe sometime I will come up with this new character to enlarge the family! : D

Note: Autan is one character of mine that isn't included in my own headworld; he will never meet Flo (if I can say, my "characterized" self). He belongs to the world Alana created.

PERSONALITY
• TEMPER: Autan is mature and serene for his young age. He’s calm and has a great self-confidence. He’s also a reserved shinlai and appreciates loneliness. But this doesn't preclude kindness. When he’s with others, he’s really pleasant. Even when someone reproach him something, he accepts it calmly. He doesn't get angry easily. He's naive, almost. He will always avoid battle when it is possible.
However, what makes him angry is injustice. He gets pissed off when he sees someone else getting intimated without any reason.
Following that idea, Autan is protective towards his mate, Nill, without being overwhelming.
Autan is rather conservative in his values.
• FEAR: Eerily, one of Autan's biggest fear is the dark element, even if his father is a dark shinlai. Beeing young, he already spyed Soren and saw him having one his trance. It really scared him, but never told it to his dad. From that day, he keeps having nightmares about that vision. He often dreams the death of his father or that he would himself being attacked by the dark. Nill is the only shinlai knowing the reason of his fear.

ELEMENTAL POWERS
Autan doesn't have any particular specialisation. He rather prefers to explore his element, air, and believes in versatility.
Wind gusts, little healing capabilities and mirages are some of his abilities. But any of them is particularly strong.

HISTORY
• PUPHOOD: Autan had a peaceful puphood and discovered his element quite young. His powers weren’t strong, but they were well controlled. He quickly enjoyed making small mirages to trick his friends. He liked to control winds too, giving him the oportunity to glide on small distances or to prevent falls!
When Autan was young, and still now, he liked looking at clouds. Being an air shinlai, unconsciously, he was often modelling them using his air element abilities. Recognizing and identifying those new shapes amused him a lot. It was one of his favorite games.
• ARTISTIC TALENT: Young, he learned with Soren how to concoct dyes. After the ‘’cooking’’ sessions, he would help his dad tint his albino fur. With his dad, he started to developped his artistic talent and his taste for beads early.
• MASK: When Autan brought the material to a human and asked him to make him a new mask, he looked at him go. When the man was finished with the right side, the young shinlai liked so much the natural colours and shapes that he asked him to let it the way it was. That’s why the two sides of the mask are different.
• CHOOSING ITS PATH: His father was part of the Darkblood. Even if Autan had a lot of respect for Soren, he decided to not follow his path. He felt it didn’t suited him.
• MEETING HIS MATE, NILL: After meeting Nill, who talked him about Daila, Autan decided to support her project of becoming an Elite. In addition of helping her in her training, he became a Daila follower.
• TALIN ASSAULT: Autan refused to let Nill go to Talin alone. They dropped their pups, Silke and her younger sister, in a village not so far away, and they went together. Therefore, they were both in Talin when the assault began. They supported the Dailians during the fight. Autan preferred to stay behind the lines to heal injured shinlai, but he ensured to always have an eye on Nill. After the battle, when the parents came back to the village, the younger pup was alone, hidden in the debris. Some human scavengers had captured Silke. This made Autan very mad. He sweared to himself he would find her dear stepdaughter sometime. Since that time, Autan is even more protective toward is younger daughter.
