Description
This is my first completed drawing in a month and a half. I've been in a major artistic slump lately, and I hope it's nearlyover because not drawing is bumming me out BAD.
Anyways, Futurama was on in the background yesterday, so I drew my rendition of Turanga Leela from the show. I tried
giving her the ponytail, but it looked awful, so she got a haircut. Seems more practical for her character anyhow.
Kiyohiko Azuma's short-haired girls like Kagura and Fuuka Ayase were my inspiration for the hair style.

I know there's, like, an episode of Futurama where the characters are all anime for some reason.
I haven't seen it, but I bet I would like it more if Leela looked like this! ^^

The episode is called Reincarnation, and the anime parody is really poorly done.
It looks more like one of those ridiculous "how to draw manga" books by Chris Hart.
Also, it only spoofs the formula of older action shows and not anime as a whole,
which disappointed me.
